With 7 different locations, 3 retail stores and a dive retail store, Dive Friends Bonaire has the biggest dive operation on Bonaire. We have approx. 60 employees. Dive Friends Bonaire is a PADI 5-star IDC center. Divers are trained from beginner to professional level. We introduce guests to the most beautiful dive sites on Bonaire. Our dive shops are open 7 days per week to provide a perfect experience for our guests.  We are a retail dealer, importing and distributing merchandise for all Dive Friends shops and retail shops. In addition, we supply other dive centers with dive equipment and accessories on Bonaire and work closely with some on-island suppliers.

Job Opening: Dive Master at Dive Friends Bonaire

Do you have a passion for diving and guest relations? Dive into a new challenge with Dive Friends Bonaire! We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Divemaster to join our team.

What will you do?

• Organizing, conducting and supervising recreational diving activities, both shore and boat based, including dusk tours and night dives.
• Assisting instructors with their training activities.
• Carry out front desk activities
  • Check guests in and out
  • Sell dive shop products and Dive Friends activities (upselling)
  • Inform guests about the rules of the Bonaire Marine Park

What are we looking for?

• PADI Divemaster: PADI Divemaster certification required
• Languages: Fluent in English, any extra language is a plus  

What does a typical day entail

You arrive at the location around 730am, open the shop and prepare the boats for the day. The morning is usually being on the boat with guests for guided dives or snorkeling tours.

What is the team you will be working with like

A diverse and dynamic team of Divemasters, Instructors, managers, and office staff, all working together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere within a commercial environment.

We blend professional expertise with an island vibe, where collaboration and fun are top priorities!

• A full-time contract: 40-hour week with a two-consecutive-day weekend.

• Receive and label new product
